Setting up Google reCAPTCHA Keys (UPDATED)

Google reCAPTCHA keys: A service that is provided to protect your site from adds and unwanted content. Its purpose is to make sure that every user is an actual human and not a bot with harmful intention. It is an awesome service to have and is completely free to use. So, here are nine steps you can follow to get this on your own.

 

How to get new Google reCAPTCHA keys put into Site Stacker.


1. Google "Google reCAPTCHA" and click on the first link which will be https://www.google.com/recaptcha/about/

 

2. Click the v3 Admin Console menu 


3. This will take you to Register a new site. Label your 'reCaptcha'. 


4. Choose "reCAPTCHA v2" and "I'm not a robot Checkbox" 


5. Add in your domain. 


6. Accept the reCaptcha Terms of Service and click 'Submit'


7. Google will then provide a Site Key and Secret Key. Make sure to note of these keys as these are the ones you will paste in Site Stacker. 

To add the Google reCaptcha keys in Site Stacker: 


1. Go into the Site Stacker "Settings" under "System". 


2. Click "Integration" > "Google reCAPTCHA".


3. Copy your two keys one at a time. Paste the "Site Key" into the "Site Key" box,  and the "Secret Key" in the "Secret Key" box. 


4. Click "Save and Close".
