How to Add New CRM Record Types to a Workflow

Here are the first steps, which will take place in the CRM Component:

  1. Head over to the CRM component within Site Stacker
  2. Click on 'Configuration' and then choose 'Record Type'
  3. Add the new record type of "Your Record Type Value"

Adding your new Record Type into the Motion 2 Workflow:

  1. Dive on into the Motion 2 component
  2. Find out where the task that would need to be completed or value matched to trigger the new record type being added.
  3. Add the Trigger to that task with the following information:
  • Source = Task Completion / Value Match
  • Recipient Role = Primary (Contact)
  • Action = Change CRM Record Type
  • Action Type = Add
  • Record Types = 'Your Record Type Value'
