Move Payment Method

Processors Component: Move Payment Method

In Site Stacker you can now move payment methods from one record to another. This will also move any transaction history and recurring gift schedules to the new record. Use case: If your child began giving to an org/sponsoring someone using your cc information and you wanted to ensure that you received a tax credit for it, you could have the payment method moved from the child’s record to yours along with the gift history. 

Configuration

In Site Stacker, select the Processors component.

Then once in the processors component choose the “Payment Methods” tab on the left bar.

Search for the person you wish to move a payment method from, right-click on their name, and then select Move Payment Method. 

A new window will open allowing you to search for a new person in the CR database to move the payment method to. This window will also show you how many transactions and recurring payments will be moved to the new person.
